Many of our students request lecturers to provide Power Point slides prior to the lecture. This allows the students to annotate them during the lecture (sometimes printed copies, increasingly electronically). This isn't as easy with Prezi.

In the ideal world, students would be able to follow along with an in progress Prezi on their device, with automatic syncronization (so their view mirrors the presenter's view) and also with the ability to annotate their own copy of the Prezi. I can see this offering enormous value to students.

Take it a step further. What if social annotations were also possible? Students (and the presenter) could see public annotations made by other students and this could be captured and made available to the whole class.

Maybe I'm dreaming, but this would provide substantial extra value in this environment!

What about using Google Docs for the class? They can take notes in real time, so everybody can put their annotations and share with the class in the same document.

We have to think a lot... yet!! :)
